There is a huge market for Tamil films in AP and this is great news for our Tamil film industry.
Vijay and Murugadoss's next film is all set to roll. Vijay had been busy with Velayudham and Nanban whereas Murugadoss has been wrapped up with Engeyum Epodhum (as a producer) and 7am Arivu with Suriya. Thandavakone starring Sanjay Kumar and Nandagi had its audio release recently. The USP of the film is that Ilaiyaraja composed the music. In a moving speech, the maestro reminisced about how he first got his break in films. He revealed the struggles he underwent and was full of gratitude to producer Panchu Arunachalam for believing in him, when he was a nobody and giving him his first break.
The great man said that he has always sought to repay the favor by giving other talented artistes a chance to prove themselves. In addition to this, he is always happy to score the music for films by new directors who have the potential to make it big. And that is why he agreed to work on Thandavakone directed by Subbusujatha and produced by Ambience Movie Makers.
All in the audience were moved by the speech and the humility of the speaker. Truly, Ilaiyaraja is a living legend and an inspiration to all who know and love him.
Trisha is notoriously famous for her poor Tamil, which has resulted in dubbing artistes being used for all but a couple of her films. However, for Ajith's golden jubilee film, Mankatha, Trisha will dub for herself. Apparently, director Venkat Prabhu and Ajith felt it would be better that way and together they convinced her.
Venkat Prabhu said that Trisha has an important role in the film. He said that the actress shares great chemistry with Ajith and their scenes together in the film are sizzling. Her voice would suit the character perfectly and so he asked her to do the dubbing and Trisha obliged. So audiences can start preparing to hear her particular brand of Tamil mixed with English dialect.
Nayanthara’s decision to convert to Hinduism ahead of her marriage to Prabhudeva seems to have touched a few nerves here and there. Speaking on behalf of a Christian organization its office bearer Inian John said that the news of Nayanthara’s decision to convert to Hinduism came as a shock and caused much pain to him.
He said that Nayanthara’s actions in the recent past have been totally against the principles of Christianity. The Bible clearly forbids a Christian from coveting something that belongs to someone else. By deciding to marry Prabhudeva, Nayanthara has incurred the wrath of the Lord by deciding to step away from Christianity, as said in the Bible. He also said that Nayanthara would also have to incur the pain for the grief that she has brought upon Ramlath.
He also added that it was evident that Nayanthara had been forced to convert to Hinduism by Prabhudeva. He added that such coercion was almost a criminal offence.
Dhayanidhi Alagiri, of Cloud Nine movies is hopping mad. The reason is that the police have removed posters, banners, and other publicity material that was put up in Madurai to promote the audio release of Mankatha which is being publicized as Ajith's Golden Jubilee venture. He says that such behavior on the part of the cops is unwarranted and inexcusable.
The producer has adopted a defiant stand and has said that Ajith fans will surely be outraged but they should not respond because the free publicity will be good for the film in the long run.

This is also great news for Jiiva as his Rowthiram with Shriya will be releasing this weekend. The success of Ko has made him very popular and his fans are anxiously awaiting his next offering.
