The audio launch of ‘Deiva Thirumagan’ was held before few hours herein Chennai and we bring you the first music review of this film.
1. Kadha Solla Poraen
Vocals: Chiyaan Vikram, Shringa S
Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar
It’s almost like a conversational song that takes place between a father and daughter as the dad wants to narrate a story to his sweet daughter. For those, who were very familiar with Vikram’s macho voice in ‘Kanthaswamy’, it’s gonna be a different experience here. He has carved a niche by crooning it differently. The song will have Vikram appearing in different get-ups like an Emperor, King and Superman.
2. Vizhigalil Oru Vanavil
Vocals: Saindhavi
Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar
G.V. Prakash’s sweetheart Saindhavi has rendered the song beautifully. It’s a very melodic number with some visual treat of Nirav Shah… Her voice just leaves us mesmerized. The song is pictured on Vikram and Anushka.
3. Pa…Pa..Pa
Vocals: Chiyaan Vikram
Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar
Again, it’s Vikram rocking to the core by shifting his paradigms. The song is about a father’s happiness of his baby to born soon. He gets ready to buy the goodies and special gifts for his wife and baby. There are so many dialogues in this song that will bring some characters together. The song will be a tremendous hit once the visuals are released.
4. Vennilave
Vocals: G.V. Prakash
Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar
It’s one of the best songs in this album. In the recent times, G.V. Prakash has been taking up more chances of crooning the song at different styles. ‘Vennilave’ will be surely one of the finest feathers on his caps. The song has mild instrumentals on strings, bass guitar, rhythm box and lead guitar. It’s a beautiful number that will make us fall in love with for the first time itself.
5. Jagada Thom
Vocals: S.P. Balasubramaniam, Maya, Rajesh
Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar
The song starts off with a solo violin with a well orchestrated record session followed by S.P. Balasubramaniam. The song will appear during the crucial point of the film and will surely attract the audiences. Maya and Rajesh have done a good job. Much alike the previous numbers, the song has more works on guitars. Na. Muthukumar’s lyrics deserves special mention for the inspiring lyrics.
6. Aarariro
Vocals: Haricharan, Chorus
Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar
Can be regarded as the best song in Haricharan’s career. The singer awes us with his mind-boggling performance while the musical accompaniment on strings and pianos are tremendous. The song sounds like happening during a crucial point of this film where the father has to become a mother for his child.
7. Life is Beautiful
Theme Music
A spellbinding composition by G.V. Prakash with the use of strings, Violins and whistle with the same tune repeated over and again…
On the whole, ‘Deiva Thirumagan’ stands out as yet another best composition from G.V. Prakash and the songs are likely to capture everyone’s interest as we keep hearing it repeatedly.
Verdict: Outstanding
