Hansika Motwani was the most sought after leading lady even before her debut Tamil film hit the screens. She landed on several projects and most of them with established stars like Dhanush, Vijay and Jayam Ravi.However, two of her films, ‘Mapillai’ and ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ failed to evoke the response at the box office and this has put the actress in deep distress. To regain her lost glory, Hansika is said to have agreed to play the second heroine in a Telugu film.
Shruti Haasan will play the leading lady to Siddharth, while Hansika will be the second heroine.
Hansika is currently one of the heroines in ‘Velayutham’ which stars Vijay and Genelia in the lead roles.
