A Film Festival exclusively for Tamil films is scheduled to be held in Russia for the first time, it was disclosed during a press meet at the Russian Cultural Centre. The consulate officials and film stars participated in this press meet. It is worth mentioning that Tamil film fests are being organized in countries like Canada and Norway owing to the huge popularity these films enjoy there.
The film festival in Russia will be on from August 15thto 17th, 2011. Angadi Theru, Boss Engira Bhaskaran, Kalavani, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya, Thenmerkku Paruvakattru, Myna, and Nandalala will be showcased in this film festival.
