Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s birthday falls on June 22 and his fans are gearing up to celebrate it in a grand manner. When this was brought to Vijay’s notice, he appealed to all his fans not to celebrate his birthday and instead they should help the poor and needy by distributing various welfare measures.The star has said that arrangements should be made to distribute books, uniforms, sarees and other such goods to poor people. A function to this effect was held recently in several places in Chennai and some more are being planned on June 22.
Vijay fans were expecting ‘Velayutham’ to release on his birthday as a treat for them but the film’s release has been postponed.
