It was once upon a time the actresses were in need of a dubbing artiste on their behalf. But now the scenario has totally changed as the actresses themselves are rendering their vocals for their characters.
Currently Priya Anand is on cloud nine as she has dubbed on her own in two languages, for her forthcoming film 180. Almost all the upcoming stars are learning the respective language they are appearing.
Priya says “I gathered all my courage to dub myself in Tamil and Telugu for 180. I am aware of both the languages so it helped me a lot to dub myself. I feel that every actress should use her own voice as it gives life to the character. My director Jayendra has ensured that the film would work big time among youngsters and I hope it will be warmly welcomed by them. 180 has a strong plot and at the same it’s sensitive too.
On talking about her co-stars Priya says “My hero Siddharth and co-star Nithya Menon were very supportive all through the shoot and all of us had fabulous role to play. I play the role of Renu in 180 and I am hoping it will strike the right chord”.
