Superstar Rajinikanth is currently recovering and taking rest at the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre in Singapore. He is requested to take rest atleast for a couple of months by the doctors.
Meanwhile there are many rumorsthat his next film Rana has been shelved but by breaking all the speculations his son in law Dhanush said that Rajini is going to start his shoot for Rana soon after recovering. Now we hear that the shoot of Rana featuring Rajini will start in September. The sad part of the film is that Rajini will not be involved in any stunt. According to a leading daily its known that the doctors have suggested him not to do stunts any more.
But it can be noted here that the filmmakers of Rana have planned for some hair-raising stunts, now it looks like those stunts will not be performed by Rajini. There many spectacular action sequences in the film and the action sequences were exclusively written keeping the superstar in mind.
As Rajini is unable to perform the stunts on his own, the filmmakers have decided to use a body-double for the actor. Though its shocking news but we as fans has to look after his health condition while making any conclusions.
Meanwhile, Director KS Ravikumar has completed a song on Deepika Padukone and is busy finalizing the locations for the shooting of the film.
