In an effort to encourage young students reach greater heights and help them pursue higher studies, T. Ramesh of Balaji Real Media Pvt Ltd, Chennai, who is producing Osthi with Silambarasan and Richa in the lead roles, has decided to give cash prizes to the toppers in the state 10th and 12th exams.
Rekha Malarvizhi of Hosur District will be awarded with Rs. 1 lakh cash prize for emerging the topper in the 12th exams this year. Likewise, five 10th std toppers Nithya from Srivelliputhur, Ramya from Gopichetipalayam, Sangeetha from Salem, Minnaladevi from Cheyyar and Harini from Ponneri will be awarded Rs 20,000 cash prize each.
A function will be organized on or before June 15th in which Silambarasan will handover the cash prizes to the students.
