Sripathi Panditaradhyula Balasubramanyam fondly called as SPB, the man from Nellore was born on 4th june 1946. He came all the way from Andhra Pradesh to rule the hearts of millions through his mesmerising voice. He started his carrer as a playback singer on 1966 and is still reigning successfully as a playback singer who have won the most number of awards than any other playback singer. His vocalism in all the languages ranges more than 40,000 songs which has won him a place in the records for the most number of songs sung by a playback singer in India.Being a multifaceted person he has been a conqueror not only in his singing but has also excelled, extending his hands on acting, as a dubbing artist, composer and producer. Adding one more feather to his cap, recently, the government of India has conferred Dr. S.P.Balasubramanyam the most prestigeous Padma Bhushan title. The man with golden voice turns 64 today and Cinefundas wishes the living legend many more hearty years to come in continuing to rule the masses through his magical voice.
