Sara Sara from Vaagai Sooda Vaa tops the Chart this week(Aug 8 2011)

Sara Sara’ from Vaagai Sooda Vaa becomes the new song to hold No.1 position while couple of songs from Vandhaan Vendraan and a track from Rowthiram.  It is worth mentioning that most of the songs in the charts are scored by newcomers Prakash Nikki, Gibran and so on.

1.  Sara Sara (Vaagai Sooda Vaa): Chinmayee has modulated her voice to a greater magnitude.  This song is sure to become the anthem of all missies in town.  Since it is a girl’s song for a guy, it could become their favourite track.  Newcomer Gibran is the showstopper for his appealing music.

2.  Anjana (Vandhaan Vendraan): Aalaap Raju, the prince of beautiful melodies has been under limelight for his charismatic vocalisms.  ‘Yennamo Yedho’, ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ and now ‘Anjana’.  The song has been pictured in all likeliness of these two songs.  Good work by Thamman.

3.  Vizhigalil Oru Vaanavil (Deiva Thirumagal): The song is making huge waves in towns for it is the only romantic number in this album.  Wowing everyone for its wonderful composition and mesmerizing intonation by Saindhavi, the song is declared as one of the best romantic songs in 2011.

4.  Vilayaadu Mankatha (Mankatha): Possibly by next week, we might have few more tracks from the album as the preview of all songs has become a huge hit.  But this one is the cherry-pick.

5.  Maalai Mangum Neram (Rowthiram): Special surprise from Ranina Reddy as she accomplishes with her attempts to shift the paradigms.  If the bass quotients were little lessened, her voice would have got more clarity.

6.  Senga Soola Kaara (Vaagai Sooda Vaa): The song focalizes upon the lives of brick manufactures and it is expressed very well by Anitha to the lyrics penned by National award winner Vairamuthu.  The picturing of this song attempts to take us back to the village ambiences during 60s.

7.  Kanchana Mala (Vandhaan Vendraan): It’s a new entry into the charts and Thamman manages to bring another chartbuster from the album.  ‘Kanachana Mala’ has a mix of western and classical quotient with Karthik rendering it with his own panache.

8.  Sangli Mungli (Kanchana): The song has become the darling of frontbenchers and with the choreography of Raghava Lawrence it has drew the attention of even multiplex audiences.

9.  Siru Siru Kanavugal (Nootrenbadu): The song was apprized with more value merely after the release of the film.  The visual works indeed helped it gain more popularity.

10.  Nadhiyile (Doo): Silambarasan has tried exerting his best efforts.  But the visuals have failed to make the best use of the musical score by Abhishek and Lawrence.
