Just hours before leaving for Singapore for further treatment, the Superstar paid a visit to the Velankanni Church in Besant Nagar. This was reported by a leading Malayalam daily with two photographs of the star. It may be mentioned here that, people visit this church to pray for good health.According to the reports, Rajini visited the shrine to pray before he left for Singapore. He was there for a few minutes and made his exit quietly with two of his aides who assisted him in walking, it has been reported.
Rajinikanth flew down to Singapore and has been admitted to the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre where he is being treated for kidney disorder.
