Raasathi from Avan Ivan Retains its 1st PositionA special week for Yuvan Shankar Raja’s fans. Yes, almost majority of the chart is occupied by Yuvan’s compositions as his albums ‘Avan Ivan’, ‘Vaanam’ and ‘Pesu’ have their hits displayed here.
1. Raasathi (Avan Ivan): The song has become the most favorite of youngsters. It took some time for the song to reach the top of charts as the previous releases were dominating. But, with Yuvan Shankar Raja’s stunning musical score, it becomes show-stopper. The instrumentals are done extremely well with a great panache.
2.Vizhigal (Deiva Thirumagal): Saindhavi always streaks a special rapport with her beau G.V. Prakash. Often they dedicate solo songs for each other. Well, this one isn’t an elision as, G.V. Prakash gives more scope for her rendition. It’s a beautiful melody and acts like a slow poison.
3.Avanapathi (Avan Ivan): In the recent times, few songs are making a big time in rating merely for the stunning lyrics. Of course and it’s Na. Muthukumar winning laurels for his stupendous works. This song boasts of a philosophical theme that will leave listeners to hear it again and again.
4.Ennamo Yedho (Ko): Looks like the song is getting overdosed for the audiences as the teaser promos and songs are aired continuously. However, it’s one of the best songs of 2011.
5.Vaanam (Vaanam): Yuvan Shankar Raja, the young maestro has exerted his best efforts to give a best spell over his songs in Vaanam. An impressive effort as the song becomes the soul of this film. It appears in different situations and it suits perfectly.
6.Our Malayoram (Avan Ivan): Mellifluously beautiful with simple instrumentals and good vocalisms. The lyrics are simple and Yuvan ensures that the voice clarity isn’t overshadowed anywhere. It’s sure to be a good treat for the audiences once the visuals are released.
7.Vennilave (Deiva Thirumagal): G.V. Prakash will soon conquer the position of ‘King of Melody’. In the recent times, he has been exhibiting a powerful domination on melodious songs. He has used little instruments for this film and gives a priority to the fortepianos. ‘Vennilave’ is crooned by G.V. Prakash and a good work on the whole.
8.Gala Gala (Ko): The song became famous amongst youth cohorts for its colorful picturing. The song is composed well and the choreography is done on par with excellence.
9.Unnai Kandene (Kanden): Music director Vijay Ebenezer has made a commendable beginning of his career with his debut album. Almost all the songs in this album have become hits.
10.Vennira Iravugal (Pesu): The chart begins and ends with Yuvan Shankar Raja’s magic. Very rare, the songs sans big onscreen brands in becoming a good hit and this one is a best illustration.
